Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering or RV College of Engineering in Bangalore is one of the prestigious technical colleges in the country that provides quality education under 14 departments. Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the college has been leading the charts since the year 1963. RV College of Engineering Bangalore is spread over an area of 51.4 acres and has a beautiful and green campus.

Courses Offered at RV College:
Following a credit based system, RV College of Engineering Bangalore has numerous courses to offer which are diversified and divided on the grounds of departments.
There are 14 departments in RVCE which include Aerospace Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Information Science and Engineering, Master of Computer Applications, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, and Basic Sciences.
Each department acts as an isolated body when it comes to setting up grading criteria and course plans. Moreover, various events and seminar are held by the institution other than the courses in RV College.
Eligibility for admission in RV college engineering:
To qualify to enroll into the college, there are two modes available to you – Karnataka CET test and COMED-K undergraduate test. Based on the Karnataka CET test and COMED-K undergraduate test, high scoring students are short listed to appear in the merit list of the admissions in RV College of Engineering Bangalore.
Other than that, there is an additional way to get enrolled into the college if your name has not appeared in either of the lists mentioned above. Students are also enrolled through a management quota for Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Architecture degree.
For Post Graduate courses in RVCE, students are admitted through their respective GATE scores. Other than that, Post Graduate Karnataka CET scores are also accepted for Post Graduation admissions.
RV College of Engineering cut off:
To appear in the merit list of the admission to the undergraduate degree, students have to clear a rank based RV College of Engineering cut off in either COMED-K test or Karnataka CET test. The cut-off might change every year and are different for different undergraduate programs offered.
Moreover, the minimum academic qualifications should be met which are as follows:
- 10th Std.: 70% (or above) in Maths and Science.
- 11th Std.: Min. 65% in Maths and Physics.
OR - 12th Std. Pre-Board: 65% in Maths and Physics.
